This is a lovely set of 3 intricately hand carved Indian wooden print/batik block used originally to print onto fabrics with vegetable dyes. They are also increasingly being used for henna tattooing. Each block is carved from one piece of wood with an approximate height of 1. 5 inches that is very convenient to hold while printing. I buy all my blocks personally from block printers as well as block carvers that I have worked with over the years. As a result, all my blocks are hand picked carefully after considering their quality, designs and workmanship.

I am listing them as a set to give you the best deal possible both in the item price as well as the shipping cost (huge savings when shipped as a set).

These are a collection of what are also known as finger blocks.

The first block is a floral leaf design and has beautiful details. It measures approx. 3.15 inches X 0.65 inches.

The second block is a floral leaf design and has beautiful details. It measures approx. 3 inches X 0.9 inches.

The third block is a floral leaf design and has beautiful details. It measures approx. 3.35 inches X 0.65 inches.

These blocks are traditionally used to print fabric, although they can be used on clay, plaster walls, candles, paper, tattooing etc. You can also put them on walls for a unique look or use them as decorative hardware on your favorite pieces of furniture for a very antique look.

As an Artist/Designer myself, I have used these blocks for printing various projects such as ceramics, t-shirts, home furnishings, greeting cards, canvas, and much more.
