The Danger is Already Inside, Cute and Destructive, with Wily Paws... (woodblock print--blue, brown)

Description

The raccoon and imagined homeowner are equally startled by the animal's presence in this overly-floral guest room. I used my first foray into multiple block printing to explore the idea of cultivated vs. "unmanaged" nature bumping up against suburban encroachment.

Each print was hand-pulled from two woodblocks; this edition uses *brown* and blue oil-based inks, on white mulberry paper. The brown, though dark, gives the design a slightly softer feel than the use of black ink.

Edition size: 8.

Image size: 13 1/4" x 16 3/4".

Each print is carefully rolled into a protective tube and shipped your way via USPS priority. If shipping to Canada, it will be sent first class/parcel post.
