Classic American Style Ball Point Pen and Pencil

Description

This pen is handturned using Marblewood (Marmaroxylon racemosum) Smooth with a fine, even texture, usually straight-grained. Heartwood is yellow-beige with maroon to black wavy streaks, which gives a marble-like appearance. Difficult to work with hand and machine tools, but achieves a very hard, smooth finish when turned. Glues well. Used for cabinet work, inlay and small decorative items, carving, turnings.
This pen features a larger 3/8" diameter lower body and 1/2" diameter upper body. Double twist mechanism turns left or right to extend the ball point, turn to center position to retract. The pencil features a smooth operating twist mechanism which feeds .7mm lead as you need it. Cobalt Gold finish.
The pen and pencil come in a case.
All pieces are handcrafted individually in Florida.
