This luxurious warm cozy multicolored, black and green designer rolled brim hand knit beanie hat was created from llama fiber, Merino and mohair. Llama yarn is even warmer than wool so with llama fiber added into this hat, it will keep you nice and toasty on those cold fall and winter days and on into spring. This unique One-of-a-Kind hat will never be repeated again.

The Merino wool and mohair is hand dyed and hand spun by Ozark Hand Spun…a color called Petals of Hope. The llama yarn comes straight from Bounder, one of our llama herd sires that made history in the January 1st 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA…first time ever for llamas to be in that internationally famous parade.

I doubled the yarn using both colors together and hand knit this exquisite hat on a circular Knifty Knitter hand loom. It is lofty and rich…fit for Royalty. There are strands of curly mohair spun together loosely into the Merino so it may shed naturally a little. Any shedding can be easily tucked back into the yarn. This beautiful hat is embellished with a hand crocheted large flower and leaf centered with a unique wooden black button and detailed with loopy wool. The self rolling brim is trimmed with loopy black wool.

This hat was hand crafted in a smoke free cat friendly environment. The hat measures approximately 7” from the center top to the outside edge of the rolled mock brim and approximately 10 1/2 inches across the bottom when laid flat (but it does stretch). This hat will fit medium to large heads quite comfortably.

I try to take accurate pictures. Please keep in mind that colors will vary slightly monitor to monitor.

Care: Hand wash or spot clean with cool water and mild soap! Reshape and lay flat to dry –tuck any shedding back in– store flat.
