Description
This plate is approx.9" round.I was drawn to this image and really loved the movement and obvious joy of the children skipping. Also, the colors are so cheerful!
All work is done on the back of the plate so it is food safe. Damp wipe only and do not immerse in water or put in a dishwasher.
This piece is done in layers. There is a clear coating put on, then the bottom part of the plate is fabric and it is decoupaged on.The top part of the plate is part of a sunflower and that is painted on freehand but simplistic. The final layer is a spray coat of lacquer to seal the piece.
The plate is year dated, numbered and signed by 'Maggie'.
