JOY altered collaged rose pendant with vintage cut amethyst glass and freshwater pearl chain
Description
SO PRETTY ON and pefect for Mother's day!As always, I start the necklace creating my pendant first. I used vintage images and ephemera and framed up my mini collage in a rustic pendant from Mexico. I topped it off with a tiny watch part to give the pendant just a bit more depth.
The chain has many fabulous elements! I hand wired the entire chain in 24 Gauge copper wire, making it very fine and delicate. Every loop and ring has been double wrapped for extra duarability. I then antiqued the entire chain for a wonderful patina.
I used antique cut amethyst crystal, fresh water pearls and beautiful pink Rhodinite, all combined for a beautiful effect.
"JOY" measures 19" in length.
Wear this dressed up or with jeans...it makes a statement with whatever you've got on!
