Vintage 1980s peach cap-sleeved sweater/sweater vest in shaker knit

Description

Peach sweater has cap sleeves, and banded waist, armhole and V-neck. The yarn is machine knit in what my mother called a Shaker sweater.

* Tag says Classic Fashions. Union made in the USA. 100% acrylic yarn.
* Size L, BUT measure carefully. Measurements taken all the way around, in inches:
Bust (underarm to underarm): 44
Waist (before stretch): 31
Shoulder to hem: 23

* "Turn garment inside out. Machine wash warm. Gentle cycle. Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low. Remove promptly. Warm iron."

* Ask away for more specs. No measurement too inane.
