This is a one in a million (or maybe thousand) band. Some how I picked the exact gauge of crochet needle, number of stitches and tension to make my black, gray and white alternating yarn to create consistent stripes! I have no idea how I managed it, I was going for an "urban camouflage" look. I came really close to keeping this freak of nature! This headband is made for lots of locks, whether they be big hair or dread locks.The yarn is 100% acrylic.
Dimensions: 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide and 19 inches (48 cm) circumference. It does have a fair amount stretch to it (about 24 inches (61 cm)). Please make sure you measure you head at the largest point, which is your forehead back to occipital bone. It fits my model just fine, but I am sure not everyone's head is the same.
