Lacy Van Raalte Vintage Slip 34A

Description

Extremely lovely white slip, with lots of lace and ribbon details, by Van Raalte, a quality manufacturer of slips, and a collectible vintage lingerie brand.
Bodice is beautifully shaped, and perfectly fitted with double darts. Straps are fully adjustable, with metal slides.

Deep 6" inch lace border hem, side slit at right, with bow accent, and woven-in satin ribbon trim.
Label inside ~ Size 34 A ~ 100% Nylon ~ Made in U.S.A.

Lace is lined with sheer fabric, which provides a comfortable fit.
A fine candidate for hand-dyeing. I think a mauve lilac would be quite fetching! Or leave it snowy white; there are no stains whatsoever.

This slip fits me perfectly; my bra size is 36 B.
I believe it would best fit those in the 34/36 A/B range.
Fits my mannequin, Millie, very snugly. Her waist is 30" inches and hip is 40" inches.
Center back length 31" inches, as is center front length.

Very good vintage condition, with tiny area of wear on inside lining of hem border. Quite minor, not noticeable when worn.

Please note that Millle, my mannequin, is clean and fresh, even though she has water stains. She's from 1960, and this vintage slip is from her era!
