"After the Storm"
I always love the way the sun rays break through the clouds after a storm. I have tried to capture that in this tapestry.

Tapestry measures approx. 12" by 14"(30.5cm by 45cm}. It is done entirely in unspun wool, by hand, using special barbed needles. The wool is poked thousands of times to work it into the base, which is also hand made using unspun wool. I use no patterns in my work, and no pictures are used. This scene comes entirely from my imagination. Some of the wool fibers are hand dyed by me to get the colors I want. Sometimes I use larger pieces of fiber to work in, and sometimes just a couple of strands to get the effect I desire. I have not used any machinery in this work.

You can frame the piece if you want. For your convenience, I have felted hanger tabs on the back of the tapestry, and will include a dowel and wool cord for hanging. It is artist initialed in the lower left hand corner of the piece.
