New Orleans French Quarter Skirt Made From Tshirts Size Large Adjustable Waist

I handmade this one of a kind t-shirt skirt out of two tshirts. This tskirt is as comfy as it is practical. Since it is made of tshirt it is easily laundered just toss in the washer and dryer. It has a double drawstring that ties flatteringly above each hip. The jersey fabric is slightly stretchy and allows some give where ever you need it. This would be a great skirt for hot days on the beach, summer concerts, Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, sporting events, Crawfish Boils, Mardi Gras / Carnival, dancing at Maple Leaf Bar, Tipitinas, or down on Frenchmen or Bourbon Street or for just watching tv and being a couch potato.

Waist at largest is 36" (91cm) and 18" (46cm) in length.

Because my mannequin is pretty skinny, the skirt looks more scrunched than it actually would. To imagine a more accurate look of the skirt perhaps check out some of my other skirts that are in smaller sizes.

For instance a wool sweater re-worked into a funky pair of legwarmers may provide a customer more quality for their money since the price of the wool from the fabric store could run more than the retail price of those upcycled funky new legwarmers. Recycled fabrics often have been washed many times and are therefore unlikely to shrink or fade- since they probably already did.
