12.25"x12.25"x1.25". Dimensional collage featuring original antique photo (not scan). Background is print cotton fabric--while polka dots on a medium blue ground. Embellished with embroidered waves of silk ribbon, cotton floss, and metallic gold thread. Scattered across the dots are clear sequins--a few centered with tiny irridescent aqua sequins--attached with clear glass seed beads and metallic gold thread. The photo is edged with frosted beads and blanket stitch and chain stitch in variegated cotton floss. Wood frame is painted with metallic gold, metallic blue, and flat blue acrylics. Quote from antique book: "A bath should be taken at least once a week, and if the feet perspire they should be washed several times a week." Finished on back. Frame is fitted to hang.
