Vintage BSK Silver Metal and Gray Rhinestone Brooch

A sparkly delight in neutral tones, ready to dress up any outfit.

This vintage brooch is fashioned from smoke gray marquis and round rhinestones and etched silver tone metal in a leafy, floral type setting. It's a pretty, feminine piece in excellent condition. The brooch measures 3" X 1" and is marked BSK.

BSK was a New York City based company that was in business from the 1940's -1950's. The initials B.S.K. stood for the first initials of the owners names. The B was for Benny Steinberg, the S was for Hy Slovitt and the K was for Mr. Kaslo (don't know his first name). Their line was reasonably priced and could be found in some department stores and Woolworth's.
