Beetle

Description

Beetle is both my first-ever set of monochromatic sticks as well as my first set of painted bone sticks. The slightly metallic paint not only adheres very strongly, it also adds a shifting irridescent sheen to the stick, very much like a green beetle (such as cetonia aurata). The beads are all glass (mainly Czech) and the cute little dangles are very short (less than an inch) so they don't add much weight, just a little bit of sparkly movement to catch the eye.

Beetle weighs about 25 grams. For comparison, an egg weighs about 70 grams. The stick portion is approximately 4.5 inches long (just the bone portion, which is the part to be inserted into the hair).
