Sale. Cherry Red Gingham Apron - Vintage

Finally, I have brought myself to part with one of my many many vintage aprons to bring you this incredibly adorable red gingham apron! Really, how could you not fall in love with this? It is the quintessential vintage apron, complete with red rick-rack and a little pocket that is just to the left of the center of the apron.
This vintage apron is handmade, and is stitched with green thread in some places (Perhaps the seamstress ran out of red thread? Who knows!). I am thinking this was probably made by a novice seamstress (probably a young girl or teenager), as the stitching is a pretty haphazard in places and the inside seams are a bit raw in places. It kind of adds to the charm of the piece, though, don’t you think?

Condition: So-so. Haphazard stitching and raw seams inside in places, but there are no holes, stains, or tears and the fabric is lovely.
Label: None.
Measurements: Apron Length 18, Tie Length 63
Material: Cotton woven gingham.
Date: It could be anywhere from the 60s to the 80s, but I’m going to guess on the earlier end of this figure. The fabric feels like old cotton, which I find is often thinner and softer than modern cotton, due to washing and method of production.
