vines tablecloth
Description
this is one of my 38" x 40" sized floursack towels that i batiked and dyed by hand. it works wonderfully as a small tablecloth for a dinette table or as a table scarf for a larger one.my linens are all batiked and dyed by hand. i waxed this one with an elegant vines pattern and dyed it a sweet periwinkle blue color. the vines remained white after i removed the dyes from the fabric. the boiling step of the batik process created a piece that is preshrunk and that has stable colors. you can machine wash and dry it with your other linens and it won't shrink, fade or bleed.
in addition to being great kitchen and dining room decor, my linens make great housewarming and wedding gifts. they also make great wrapping for other housewarming gifts, like nice bread or a bottle of wine.
