Wild Flowers No. 1" is a beautifully constructed fabric postcard by fiber artist Kimberly Baxter Packwood. This Art Quilt is made using eco-friendly materials and low impact natural dyeing techniques.

8.5 x 11 inches. Textile Art.

Compost Dyed cotton fabrics and Natural Dye Silk Cocoons. Machine and Hand Stitched. Timtex Core for rigidness.

Compost dyeing uses natural processes, using botanical dyes and earth friendly mordants, that occurs over weeks or months. This processs leaves unique marks on the cloth. My compost dyed cloth is one-of-a-kind, due to the nature of the process. So no two pieces of cloth ever look the same.
