Currier and Ives
Description
Vintage Currier and Ives cup and saucer from Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village Dearborn Mi (a very fun place) and lovely ephemera.The pieces have gold trim and the saucer has a nice scalloped edge.Cup is free of chips or cracks.
The saucer has a hairline crack from the edge to the bottom of the picture, but it is hard to see it unless you look close. It would still look great as part of a collection on a shelf or in a curio cabinet!
Included in this purchase are 9 paper images of Currier and Ives "Neighbors at Christmas". They were found among other papers that were from a jewelry store that closed in the 1960s..possibly part of a mailing promotion or something.
