compound eye ring (adaptive re-use of vintage earring)

Description

MADE TO ORDER
(the original ring has sold (see feedback),
but i have another almost completed- just needs to have the band soldered on- (the size of your choosing.)
please allows 2-3 weeks for completion.
(allowance for busy working-mom schedule)

this ring was inspired by the upcoming etsymetal monthly challenge for april: insects.

i love the 'compound eye' look of the textured precision of this vintage brass earring, which i have reclaimed for this chunky ring.

(the brass has a bright gold tone, with some variations in coloring due to its age and natural patina.
the rest of the ring is sterling silver and hand fabricated. by yours truly.)

very sturdy and geometrically pleasing to the eye and touch!

***when buying wide band rings, such as this,
it is best to purchase a wider size.


if the ring does not fit you well,
i can resize it or make an entirely new one.
