1 Yen - Earrings

Description

Genuine Japanese 1 yen coins adorn these earrings, with a large 1 on one side and some bamboo on the other. These coins were collected during my tour of Japan a few years ago. They're a great way to remember how much fun I had and the people I met while I was there.

The coins were actually in circulation, so there may be some minor wear, but I've throughly cleaned and scrubbed them which is the reason for the slight brushed look. They're also available in a more smooth polished look, but some marks may still show through.
I believe the coins are made from aluminum, which is why they're incredibly lightweight. They're perfect for sensitive ears.

The earring hooks are sterling silver, stamped 925.
They'll come packaged ready for gift giving in a translucent pillow box with colored tissue paper and ribbon.
