40's Vintage Bubble Gum Pink GABARDINE Tailored Shirt RARE

You just don't lay hands on too many gabardine pieces... they are becoming more and more scarce and highly prized as collectibles. This one is a real gem. It's a 40's era bubble gum pink wool and rayon blend gab made for Bermuda Flannel. I love the 40's stylized and tailored details with the shoulder pleats and of course that adorable little breast pocket.

It's in pretty darned good shape... the gold metal buttons are pretty scratched up but other than that it has maintained it's integrity pretty well.

Measurements are as follows...

Bust: 38"
Waist: 30"
Shoulder: 14" (unusually narrow in the shoulders)
Sleeve: 21.5"
Length: (from back of collar to hemline) 20.5"

Never use a hot iron on Gabardine... it will discolor the fabric, just iron with a cool setting. I would recommend dry cleaning for this piece.
