Description
Who needs a pair of goggles? Anyone in love with the steampunk genre, or anybody who has ever considered themselves a mad scientist. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to be on a zepplin or in a clockwork powered submarine, you need to look the part. Goggles are unmistakable when worn, and look great perched on the top of a hairstyle or on a hat or cap.Completely handcrafted from real leather and brass (no plastic parts to break, bend, or peel), these unique goggles feature a side "telescope" handsomely made from all real brass. Good for seeing otherwise invisible creatures in the aether, viewing scenes impossible distances away, or whatever else you can dream up.
Two side strips feature my signature millimeter sized rivets, and hold the telescope in place. Two tones of leather, a tan body highlighted by a burgandy brown are sewn by hand using an awl. The thick matching leather strap closes with a brass buckle and adjustable eyelets and is held in place with sturdy industrial brass rings. The lenses on the the goggles are an amber color, with the telescope featuring clear, domed lenses.
Please note that these goggles are fashion accessories, and not intended for eye protection.
