An aqua glass bird glows from within a handmade bezel setting.

The glass bird is a pale aqua and translucent- - and it is matte in finish- almost looks like sea glass, except for the graphic swirls and dots etched into the surface. This is Czech pressed glass, and it is more than vintage but not yet antique (it has been suggested that the glass is around 80 years old- due to age, many of the glass pieces I work with have some character chips around the edges. Anything that would detract too much from the ethereal glow of the glass or weaken the piece is put aside for another project.)

The sterling silver circle has been oxidized, brushed, and sanded, while the silver under the translucent bird is highly polished- allowing the birdy to glow a beautiful pink. It's a beautiful contrast- warm glowing glass and metal with a more industrial feel to it...

This pendant ships in a small gift box, wrapped in my signature style. Pendant is ready to hang on your favorite chain. CHAIN NOT INCLUDED...Chains are available...

Please note that the last image (of the pendant hanging on a chain, around a mannequin's neck) is the same design at this pendant but in a different color and it shows it on a chain.
