Description

The latest piece in the artist's Buckskin Series, this piece is a real show-stopper! Tiny pieces of glass are handcut and wrapped in copper foil, then soldered into place. The vibrant colors against the "buckskin" backround make this piece really shine. Leather straps laced in and out throughout the perimeter of the piece give the illusion of a piece of buckskin stretched out for painting. Framed in oak with hooks attached, ready for hanging.

Handmade by master stained glass artisan Beglar Merlich at Merlich Art Glass Studio. No lead came is used--only the copper foil or "Tiffany" style method is utilized to ensure the highest quality that will stand the test of time.
