artisanal wood mojito muddler
Description
• Responsibly harvested Vermont Birch wood• Hand turned by local New York artisan
• Large size: 1 1/2 inch bottom X 10" height
Art in it's most practical form, this eye-catching muddler is sure to spark many conversations and dazzle the judges in your next cocktail competition. No bar is complete without this important bartending tool. A muddler can be used for everything from crushing seeds and nuts, to mixing sugar cubes, to macerating herbs and bruising soft fruits. The wood turner himself uses this muddler to make old fashioned's (which he claims are better than anyone else's). Most tipplers will probably end up making the ever-popular and ever-delicious mojito. But don't stop there... Turn a regular drink into a specialty cocktail simply by adding a fresh ingredient and giving it a little muddle. Not only will it be a better cocktail, but it will be healthier too. Fresh ingredients do a body good, and we are what we drink!
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash only. Remove from cocktail when not in use or wood will stain. When wood becomes dry and looses sheen, apply mineral oil with hand. (NOTE: Try Bed Bath & Beyond or Linens & Things for thinner oil, which is more easily absorbed by wood).
