Art Deco Deer Vintage Button Pin
Description
A charming, stylized deer perched on a mountain is the centerpiece of this striking pin. It is made from two vintage buttons, the base a large celluloid wafer button with a curved design cut into its surface. The celluloid button is an intriguing shade of brown with purple highlights. On top of that is a silver metal button with the deer (which reminds me of a Franz Marc painting) and a stippled background.The brooch is 1 5/8 inches (4.3 cm), with a silver plate pinback.
