It's an odd time of year for the river. New river weed is going crazy with new growth around the leftovers of winter.

Here a dead leaf is caught in the river weed at the bottom of a stream. The reflections of the sky and leafless trees form alternating patterns on the surface, alternately blocking and revealing the river bottom below.
