Dango (Hana Yori Dango)

Description

One of my favorite animes of all time is Hana Yori Dango. So I thought I’d make “hana yori dango!” Dango are Japanese rice flour dumplings (kind of like mochi!) The saying “hana yori dango” translates into “dumplings over flowers” and means you should chose practical things over things that are simply pretty. But with this set you can have both ^_^

This listing is for a set of three dango, two plain, one with happy face dango and it also comes with paper cherry blossom cut-outs for display to complete the saying. The eyes are plastic with safety backings which are virtually impossible to take off but they still may not be suitable for small children. The dango are crocheted using 100% acrylic yarn, stuffed with poly fiberfill, and are on wood skewers. Each dumpling is a little under 1” and the whole skewer is about 9” long.

Each Dango is made to order so please allow an extra 3-4 days before shipping.

Caution! The skewer tips are pointed! It is not suitable for children. The plate is not included. Since each dango is handmade, they may vary slightly from the ones pictured in the listing.
