Chinese Knotwork Dichroic Glass Necklace

A few years ago when I had a new age shop, a glass artist from Edmond, OK (about 10 miles away from me) came in with some of his handmade wares. I bought several pieces from him. I kept this one back, thinking I'd do something cool with it.

I tried to put beads with it, but nothing seemed right. Then when I learned Chinese Knotting, I went through my stash of beads and rediscovered this treasure. Blue and black cords perfectly accent this blue and black, 2" long, dichroic glass pendant.

The long sinnet of knots on the sides are called Snake Knots. There is a Button Knot on either side of the pendant.

Necklace is approximately 24" long, not including pendant. The clasp and crimps are made with craft metal, the kind of finding they sell at Michaels and other craft shops.
