Have baby swaddled in this blanket at the hospital so that when baby is taken home, s/he can be comforted by the familiar smells that are on it. (Newborns can be comforted by familiar smells after stressful experiences according to a study in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (2005;26:86–92)

Measuring approx. 30" x 40" and made from 2 pieces of 100% cotton flannel, this blanket is embroidered with mom and dad's last names (or baby's names). Can be made from blue, pink, or gender neutral yellow colored flannel. Opposite side is either white or cream. YOU CHOOSE THE COLOR AND OR PRINT OF FABRIC. FABRIC CHOICES NOT LIMITED TO THOSE SHOWN.
