Hand Painted Silk and Cotton Bog Top

A truly beautiful blouse or wall hanging, with something new to see each time you look at it. I've used my favorite symbols and images representing water, the moon, ginkgo leaves and abstract areas of color. Pieced together from different types of silk jacquard, shantung, dupioni, and hand-loomed cotton all hand painted in blue hues in the same palette, this piece is totally elegant. Winner of the Premium Blue Ribbon for Handcrafts at the 2008 North Carolina State Fair!

This makes a stunning piece of wall art on the bamboo textile hanger, but if you'd like to wear it as a blouse, it is 38" wide from sleeve end to sleeve end, 21" wide through the body, and 22" long. Please note that there are two of these. In the first view, the model is wearing the version with a stylized dragon across the front. There is no dragon on the second view. Model wears a size 2-4 and this is a little big on her. Gentle care: swish around in the sink with mild soap, drip dry, then iron.
