Bamboo

Description

This simple small shade has delicately painted bamboo with accenting green interspersed. I covered this frame with specialty paper - light brown with interesting areas of dark brown. It is painted with traditional Sumi ink using traditional Sumi brushwork. It is fragile and not sprayed with any kind of fixative so it must not get wet or the ink will run.
Harp attachment is needed with a base.
3.5" circular opening at the top.
10.75" circular opening at the bottom.
7.75" tall.
6 panels.

As with all my lampshades, different colored bulbs always add interesting tones/effects.
