Description

My squishy cupcake pillow is made with only the best fabrics and with attention to detail.

The cupcake 'case' is made with Moda's Swell range of cotton fabrics which I quilted onto a layer of felt. The additional layer of felt really lends it a heavy quality. I then attached the 'icing' and appliqued the 'cherry on top'.
It's verty sunny here today and I think it's hard to see that the icing is a soft needle cord fabric.

The back of the cupcake is good-quality anti-pill fleece which is super-soft and cuddly.

The zip opening has been bound with felt so the fleece wouldn't stretch and pucker (which it really REALLY wanted to do!)

Inside the cupcake is a cupcake shaped pillow which can be removed for ease of washing.

Overall the cupcake pillow measures 18" x 17" (46cm x 43cm)
