"The Transformation of Magdalene" is one of my grant winning pieces produced with funding received in 2005 from the Kentucky Foundation for Women. This body of work was based on family ties and genetic coding and explored my connection my most notorious relative, Pancho Villa of Mexico. The montage was creating using a digital photo file and combining it with scanned fabric, Mayan imagery and bones.

All my work has a lot of implied texture that makes each piece carry a unique and painterly quality. This print is created using true pigmented-inks on Innova Fine Art Paper and is sprayed with a UV protectant acrylic and will last for years to come! This wonderful work of art will make a wonderful treat for your family or friends or a special gift for you!
