Description
Oya is the generic name in Turkish of the lacey trimmings at the hem of the headscarfs of the women in rural Turkey. A variety of techniques are used for those trimmings: crochet, tatting, needle lace among other.Oya makes for feather light earrings and different necklaces with a tast of the East!
These earrings are made with beautiful multicolored crochet lace and brass colored filigree earring findings. The earrings are 2 1/2'' (6cm) from the leverback wire.
The metal is nickle and lead free, as always.
