Your Morning Cup of Coffee is made with whipped shea butter so that it’s not only firmer (non-oily, non-goopy), but also leaves your skin soft and moisturized. The shea butter is combined with nourishing sweet almond oil, jojoba oil to balance your skin’s oil production and maintain suppleness, and cocoa butter to soften and soothe your skin. Vitamin E adds an extra moisturizing boost and helps protect the skin against free radicals. I want to share a little of my personal experience with scrubs, since I’ve only become an addict in the last couple years. I’ve always had a problem with sensitive, dry, sometimes cracked, red skin – especially in the winter. I had read about scrubs in the past, and figured my commercially-produced (gasp!) exfoliating shower gel was as good as it could get. Not to mention that the idea of a sugar scrub seemed counterintuitive – I figured more scrubbing would mean dryer more sensitive skin. Oh-ho was I wrong. Once I began hand-crafting my own bath products, I decided I would give some much-needed attention to exfoliating power. As I did more research, I found out that if skin is not regularly exfoliated, it can lead to blemishes, dry or rough patches, even bad circulation. But after exfoliating, the new skin that surfaces is able to absorb moisture better, less prone to wrinkles, and has an enhanced tone, texture, and glow. And so, with much time and experimenting, I created a sugar scrub with a thicker consistency, and lots of butters and oils infused to help hydrate my skin… and wow. Instant addiction. I’ve never felt my skin so soft, or had it look so good before. Not to mention I get a personal massage every time I get in the bath.

I use only the highest quality oils and butters in my products. No vegetable oil fillers and no animal oils. And definitely none of that petrolatum or mineral oil – why would you put the same thing on your body as you put in your car?
