When you go to Europe and look around at the architecture, you realize that what you were thinking was "old" was absolutely NOT old. In fact it was very young by comparison. In California, a building that's 50 years old is a historical landmark. Now THAT is funny. This painting was of gorgeous buildings in London that ARE, in fact, old.
