Red Dichroic Glass Target Earrings

Description

Blue/green patterened dichroic glass fused on a base of deep red art glass. Hand-crafted and kiln-formed in my home studio by fusing multiple layers of glass at temperatures above 1400 degrees.

The metallic glitter effect is created by using dichroic glass, which displays ever-changing colors depending on the angle at which it is viewed. The earrings measure 1/2" x 5/8". After fusing, the earrings are annealed for strength and secured with sterling silver findings.
