Sea Glass Pendant with fine silver and jade
Description
A yellowed piece of sea glass collected by me on the beach near my house, on the shores of Long Island Sound.Surrounding the piece of glass (which I think is roughly Texas shaped ~ but I've been known to see things!) is a smooth rope of fine silver. Just enough to hold it tightly but not get in the way of the essential sea glassiness of the pendant.
It's luminous, light, and yet a solid reminder of the power the sea has on all of us.
At the end of the 16" sterling drawn cable chain, I've added a 2" figaro extender, which ends in celadon-colored jade chips ~ it acts as another reminder of the sea, with its green color.
The roaring and the silence of the sea, all together for you.
