Saint George Frightens the Dragon

Original acrylic painting by Jessie Lawson. This Saint George is not about to kill the cringing dragon, who is quite a modest, even humble little fellow. He is, however, frightening him with a very soft dragon-swatter. The maiden, wringing her hands, is concerned for the dragon's welfare while at the same time quite smitten with the handsome Saint George.
The painting was done on 24" x36" gallery-wrap canvas, with
1 1/2" deep finished edges; it is all ready to hang in your drawing room or boudoir.
