Our landscapes have dramatically changed over the past 50 years. Urban sprwal had brought a square and bare effect to our once luscious, green landscapes. Forests are far betweena dn even farmland is harder to find. I love to take aerial iamges of farmland and recreate them on canvas. the patterns, the organic shapes and straight rows of vegetation blend and curve. Landscapes have a rich depth to them with a language of their own, full of texture and colors layered together.
