Bromeliad Number Two - Unframed Giclee - 12.8 x 11 inches

Description

This digital painting is of a tropical bromeliad. My focus on this piece was in the composition of the tiny flowers and surrounding leaves and highlighting the colors of the tropics. The palette is primarily shades of greens, purples, yellows and dark reds. The chop is a antique Japanese carved soapstone. Please see second thumbnail for full image. Watermark does not appear on giclee.

While the digital painting begins life as one of my original photos taken with my old Pentax K1000 film 35mm SLR the process to alter it is labor-intensive (it's not a photo ran through a filter). The final product looks much more painterly with highly saturated colors than like a photograph. I use both Photoshop and Painter to achieve the final results.

This listing is for an 12.8 x 11.0 inch gallery quality archival giclee print (using pigment inks) on Somerset Velvet paper. It is a preorder and usually takes around a week to get to me from the printer and I'll send it out to you as soon as I've hand signed and quality checked it. It is NOT drop shipped. It is shipped rolled and carefully protected with delivery confirmation and insurance and any excess shipping and handling costs over $1.00 are refunded to buyer. The third image is a visual representation only to illustrate what the image would look like framed. This listing does NOT include matting or framing.
