Under the Sea - Pendant Cabochon/Bead

I have dreams of living under the sea and even though I am surrounded by water, it is what I can't see that inspires me mostly. A whole world below the looking glass reflection of fluffy clouds and blue sky that I am relegated to. I think I always secretly wished to be a mermaid.

This little gem took several firings in my digital kiln to achieve the depth and dimension of blue water with sea grass, fishy and star fish flitting about. It is hand painted with two kinds of glass enamels and has a unique paper punch of an orange crab embedded in the glass.

This was fun to make and would be lovely strung with sea glass or shells. It has a thread/wire hole in the top (side to side where there is a dimple), or I would be happy to mount it with a Sterling plated Anaraku bail. Just convo me if that is your preference. Cabochon measures approx. 1 1/4 inches tall by 1 inch wide.
