Description

Turquoise, eco friendly and one of a kind hemp and cotton tank.

We've been experimenting with colors and multi-tone effects. Like all our designs this has been hand silk screen printed and the print colors are blends of low impact water based inks.

While we do custom orders the combination of how we blend inks to produce the print colors - plus the tonal nature of prints like this one means that no 2 will ever be the same. This adds to the uniqueness of each top. The shades in this print are fruity yellows and oranges.

Conventionally produced dyes, and the by-products of producing them, are toxic. Many of them also use very high quantities of kitchen salt – which causes irreversible harm to the ecosystems in rivers, lakes, and underground water sources when released from commercial dye houses.

Low Impact Dyes use non-azo reactive dyes which are less harmful to the environment and do not bond with organic material (such as fish or plant life). They contain no heavy metals or other toxic substances.
