California Zephyr Hoodie - Adult S - Vintage Fabrics and Iron-On Appliqued on Navy Blue Sweatshirt
Description
The California Zephyr was a train, and its logo was a deco-looking god-type-being powering through some futuristic-like clouds. I used a vintage iron-on to reproduce this logo on a piece of fine vintage cotton, and added circles of vintage fabrics in coordintating blues to accentuate the varied saturation of the iron-on image itself. The whole mess takes on an appearance of clouds, if you ask me.Note, the third picture shows the sheater on a mannequin before the drawstring was changed. The finished hoodie has a custom sky-blue satin drawstring.
