Description
Butterflies are the perfect addition to this idyllic Maxfield Parrish scene. The hues compliment the barely-veiled original cigar box decor. Layers of tissue papers create the transparent depth of winged-ones, and a blue wash hints at Parrish's favorite color. The interior lid is blue wash topped with an assemblage of more butterflies, and the bottom is beautiful textured blue silk.The exterior bottom is painted dark blue and glass globs serve as feet. A silver closure has been added to keep your secrets safe.
