"Eat Your Heart Out" has it all, semi-hollow "strip-built" body rings forever with endless sustain. Walnut bound triple bookmatched bird's eye maple top, the same in figured walnut for the back. Curly walnut fingerboard, bound and inlaid with bird's eye maple. Inlaid pick guard with handmade knobs. Hot, handwound vintage PAF's, coil taps, phase switching, bass bypass, locking tuners, jumbo frets, the list goes on and on.

Don't let her curves fool you, though. At 8 1/4lbs and just over 1 1/2" thick, you can hold her in your arms all night long. And what a joy that is. The bookmatched, quartersawn walnut neck, with bird's eye maple pin stripe, has a hand rubbed shellac polish that feels almost wet. Four days of obsession on the fingerboard alone has resulted in a superb action. The lowest you can go! These Medium GHS Boomers on the jumbo frets are a dream.

"Eat Your Heart Out" is made out of about 75% salvaged cherry and walnut(maple is local, sustainable), for a very eco-friendly guitar. Constructed entirely by hand, with extensive use of hand tools, it is truely one of a kind. Hand polished for days with clear shellac, a renewable resource and environmentally friendly finish also reknown for superior tonal qualities.

Note: WCS Guitars currently ship only with the neck removed. Assembly is very easy, all that is required is a Phillips screw driver. Complete instructions included, but any music shop can easily do it for you. There are no shims in this guitar and absolutely no play in the neck. The neck fits in one position only, and requires no finicky adjustments when mounting. This guitar can also be picked up at my shop, ready to play.

Pick up mounting rings are two ply walnut with bird's eye maple binding. In my opinion stronger than plastic and longer lived.

Headstock adjustable, low torque, stainless steel truss rod from Allied Luthier Supply makes adjusting the action a breeze.
8 mil directional shielding behind pickguard and pickups and lining bottom of control cavity. Shielded wire used for all runs except string ground. Very quiet guitar.
