Tortoise and the Hare - Limited edition giclee print on canvas

This illustration was inspired by a photo I once saw of my mother as a child. She was very little and was walking a turtle.

I am so excited to be able to offer new canvas prints of my original illustrations. This is a limited edition of 100. This is print 1 of 100. I am also able to offer two different finishes: matte (which is flat with brighter colors) or glossy (which has a slight shimmer and the colors are more true to the original).

The original illustration was drawn with prisma colored pencils and acid free ink on paper with no computer enhancements. Each one of my illustrations can take up to 15 hours to complete.

Send me a note letting me know which finish you prefer: matte or glossy. The framed photo shows a glossy canvas.

NOTE: The copyright watermark will NOT exist on your print. The frame is not included. It is just to give an example of what your print can look like when framed.

The image measures approximately 8x10" printed on 8 1/2x 11" canvas, leaving a margin perfect for framing. It is professionally printed with on gorgeous museum quality canvas, 100% acid free, no brighteners; printed with archival pigment inks.

All prints are shipped in a cellophane sleeve sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard for added support. I send my prints off to their happy new home within 1-3 days of payment and ship via USPS Priority Mail.
