Miss Scarlett - Ruffle and Lace White Circle Dress

Amazing dress - simply amazing. Looks like something a sassy Scarlett O'Hara would wear!

This dress is vintage and looks to be handmade. It has a full circle skirt that swings and hangs beautifully! The bottom of the skirt has two very pronounced, large and pretty ruffle flounces. The back of the skirt is what makes this dress amazing. The very back of it looks like it is split and in the middle of the "split" are layers of lace ruffles - four layers to be exact. The lace is white, to coordinate with the white cotton of the rest of the dress.

The waist is at the natural waistline.

The top of this dress - the bodice - is darted for a nice tailored look. The top is a deep scoop v in the front and the back. The neckline does best off-the-shoulders but will also stay up too, should you prefer that way. The sleeves are large and puffy with beautiful lace cut-outs down the outside of each sleeve. The bottoms of the sleeves are trimmed in the same white lace as is on the rear of the dress. The neckline is trimmed in the same white lace and topped with a ruffle like is on the hemline.

This dress is absolutely AMAZING. It is in wonderful conditon. I notice a couple of small stains but they will likely come out with a washing. Not guaranteed though; stains are hard to notice. This IS a vintage piece and, as is the nature of older cotton, it isn't stark white but might could be bleached. Doesn't detract from the beauty of this dress though; just stating for complete accuracy.

Dress zips up the back and also has hook closures.

No tags at all. Fits like an 8 / 10. See measurements:

Shoulder to waist: 18 inches
Waist to hem: 19.5 inches
Waist: 16 inches (double for circumference)
Sleeve length: 14 inches (this includes the sheer lace at the sleeve ends)
Bust: 21 inches
Lace ruffles are 3.75 inches wide
