Crocheted Butterfly Shawl, Desert Sands
Description
Butterfly Shawls - The butterfly shawl is not triangular, rather it is a ‘batwing’ design. This allows the sides of the shawl to drape over your shoulders and stay there. This shawl is a one of a kind piece - piece #113.It is done in a single strand of varigated acrylic yarn that contains shades of green, teal, browns, cranberry, teal. The colour combination reminds me of the desert sands, hence the name.
The shawl measures 60” across the top, and 36” from center back to the bottom point.
Although the shawl can be machine washed on a delicate cycle, I prefer to hand wash and dry them flat. They should not be stored on a hangar - rather they should be folded and placed in a drawer.
